The Heilan Island breed of Haggis is a fearsome beast. The Haggis live on the rocky slopes that surround Loch Nis and have developed one set of legs shorter than the other to help them run round the slopes with ease, a defect that in no way hinders the beasties ability to hunt on flatter land. The haggis is sacred to the Islanders and on special occasions they may be hunted for their meat which is said to taste braw with a whiskey sauce! |
