| Aldric the Arcane, a revered magician, sought ultimate power and summoned the demon Malphax, known for its brutal strength. After subduing Malphax in a fierce battle, Aldric crafted a cuirass from its nearly impenetrable skin, known as Malphax's Cuirass, and wielded his enchanted shield, Aldric's Bulwark. These artefacts, known as the Infernal Aegis, exponentially increased his power but corrupted him, transforming Aldric into a tyrant. The oppressed people, seeking salvation, turned to an ancient prophecy of a hero who would challenge Aldric. This hero, armed with divine weapons and allies, faced Aldric in an epic battle and defeated him, restoring peace. The Infernal Aegis was sealed away as a reminder of the dangers of unchecked ambition and dark magic.
