The student friar is still stood where you left him, 'Have you got me a stone paw?' The friar takes the paw, 'Thank you, you have done me a great service, I can tell you that there is a golem workshop on this floor. It's where the stone hippogriffs were made, or that's the rumor. The thing is that the hippogriffs are not actually golems, because they are not made, but bred. The nest is in the so-called 'workshop'. There is also something of great worth hidden in the nest. But nobody has the guts to go in and get it. The hippogriffs protect their nest ferociously.'

The stone hippogriffs prowl around you, there is a tense atmosphere as you approach the nest. As you lean into the nest, one of the larger hippogriffs attack. It seems to be the oldest in the room. You smash your weapon into it as hard as you can, it rolls away from you, reluctant to repeat the experience it circles you menacingly. The other hippogriffs seem happy to copy the leader.
