You enter the Shallows and find a host of Zombie Fishmen running towards a Church standing on the shoreline. You follow the Zombies and see a small pale figure standing on the roof screaming incoherently at the Zombies milling around the bottom of the church. The Undead are going to eventually overrun the Church and tear the trapped person apart. Destroy 200 Undead Fishman and try and get the survivor out of the church.

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 1289 Location:Mattix Cove (Shallows) (7, 2) Required Item: None Required Kills: 200 x Undead Fishman

The last survivor of the Mattix Cove is stranded on the roof of the Church of Light, you must kill 200 Undead Fishman to try and save them. You burst through the door into the Church and are about to rush up the stairs to the roof when you hear a familiar voice calling you. Halting you turn and see a figure hunched in the dark tearing a hole in the wooden wall, 'Get out of there Warrior, NOW! Meet me in the Cave.' You turn and see a huge wave of Zombies lurching through the open door towards you. Follow the figure through hole in the wall and live.

You find Edger crouching in the dark of the Cave. Not sure what the Ghoul wants, you approach Edger with your weapon ready. He nods slowly and shifts his weight nervously. 'I mean you no harm Warrior, so you can relax. It was Nina on the roof of the Church. She was the ships Cook. She obviously does not accept what has happened to her and is trying to cling onto her old existence as a Human. I did not want you to be killed because of the foolishness of a silly woman. The Fishmen will put her out of her misery, so you need not worry about her.' 'But there is a tang in the air, I tasted it when I entered the Shallows. I think that whatever turned me is somewhere around here. But I am not sure about my strength just yet. Can you search the Stagnant Waters for a sign of the evil that did this to me?'

Stage 4 Minimum Level: 1290 Location:Mattix Cove (Stagnant Waters) (10, 6) Required Item: None Required Kills: None

A Kraken corpse lays rotting on the rocks. The realm is filled with dead Kraken, the stench of festering flesh almost makes you gag. They all lay motionless but if you get too close their long tentacles whip out to pull you down. It took you a little time but you eventually saw a tell tale twitch of the body from time to time that betrayed the undead state of the creature. You then find a Kraken corpse that lays perfectly still, you throw a stone at it and it stays remains utterly still. You can't tell of these creatures are the cause of all this misery but you had best take a sample back to Edger. Taking a deep breath you reach down and cut the Beak off it. This will not tell the Ghoul much. You had best try and put together some more Kraken goodies for Edger to inspect. You recieve 1 x Mattix Kraken Beak

Stage 5 Minimum Level: 1290 Location:Mattix Cove (Cave) (6, 6) Required Item: Mattix Kraken Goodies Required Kills: None

Edger sits hunched in the darkness of the Cave, 'Have you managed find any sign of the thing that turned me?' You hand him the Jar filled with the foul Kraken parts, he looks intently at the dead flesh within the glass. 'This looks tasty...' He unscrews the lid and gulps down the rotting meaty chunks. 'This has a strong taste undeath that is similar to the tang in the air. I think that whatever you harvested this from was killed by what we are looking for. Search the Languid Depths, the source of this evil must be there.'

Stage 6 Minimum Level: 1290 Location:Mattix Cove (Cave) (6, 6) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Necrozodont (Elite)

Edger waits for your return, 'Did you find the source of the Undeath within the languid Depths?' The Ghoul blinks back at you, 'Oh, you destroyed it I guess...' You nod and describe the Necrozodont belching out it's fumes of necrotizing mist, which was turning all who breathed it into undead. Edger groans, 'I thought that if the source of the spell was killed I would be freed from this...' He stands up slowly, 'But my fate is now cursed with this vile existence.
