You walk along the shore of Eye Island, noticing all the sharks that plague the waters. You are so absorbed in watching the giant fish that you nearly walk into a strange man in dark blue robes. |
The fellow looks at you and says 'Not a problem Warrior. I don't blame you for watching those Sharks. They are vicious!'
As if to prove the point, a group of the sharks leap from the water in a frenzy of snapping jaws. Defend yourself! |

The strange man sets upon the sharks with blasts of Lightning. You rush to aid him! |
As you dispatch the last of the sharks, the mage turns back to you. 'You are quite proficent with that weapon friend. Would you be willing to assist me?' You ask who the Mage is and what he is doing?
The Mage brushes himself down and shakes your hand. 'I am Razmus, a Storm Mage. I am here to investigate the Tempest that has raged around this Island for generations. It is obviously magical but my Order and I have recently sensed massive flux within the magic maintaining the Tempest. I wish to see what is causing this and why the Tempest is here in the first place. Will you help me with this investigation?'
You introduce yourself back and agree to help Razmus. 'Capital! In that case please meet me at Eye Island (Inlet).' |

Razmus waits for you. 'Warrior! I am glad to see you have made it here. I'll need some help with the Salt Water Wargar that inhabit this area.' |
Razmus looks up at the roiling Tempest in the sky. 'It is said that the Wargar used to live in the Tempest but were cast out. Whether this is true or not can be gauged by testing their Essence. Please gather this essence for me.' With that, Razmus hands you an aged scroll.
You receive 'Recipe of Essence of the Wargar'. |

You return to Razmus as he is finishing off an attacking Wargar. 'Ah! Greetings Warrior! Did you manage to get the Essence of the Wargar?' |
Razmus takes the Essence from you. 'Excellent work my friend! Excellent work. Now, let's see what this can tell me!'
With a florish, Razmus forms a magical cage around the essence, which immediately starts to crackle and thrash with power. The Storm Mage seems contain the power with astonishing ease, humming away to himself as he works. With a small clap of thunder, Razmus dismisses the Essences power into the air.
'Curious. Though not born of the storm they do have an extreme affinity for it. Their reptialian nature seems to resonate in a particularly powerful way, which is why they seem so at home! This will require some extra research later but I think we'd best push on. I believe there is a Natural Harboour nearby. Please meet me there.' |

You reach the Natural Harbour and find Razmus locked in combat with strange goat-fish monstrosities! |
You help dispatch the last of the monstrous beasts. Razmus seems slightly out of breath as he turns and says 'I'm glad you appeared when you did warrior! The Capriconus are nasty beasts, drawn by the unnatural energies that the Tempest is fuelled by. I was testing the magical energies when they attacked. We are safe to move on now. Please meet me at the Storm Shores.' |

Razmus is waiting for you in the storm wracked Shores. He appears to be watching the strange birds in the sky. |
The Storm Lord looks at you. 'The birds in this area are very curious. If you can see them, you'll notice they are spitting electrical energies! It even arcs from their feathers! I would like you to retreive a number of samples from these birds. With these I shall be able research them at leisure.' Razmus hands you a scroll.

'Excellent. You've been a wonderful help! Now, I've sensed powerful concetrations of magic closer to the eye of the storm and have seen ruins. Let's look in there!' |

You enter this area of ruins looking for Razmus. You see no sign of him but suddenly hear sounds of combat. |
You run around the corner and see Razmus is surrounded by strange Lizard People. Their intentions are obviously unfriendly. You'll have to help the Storm Lord! |

You dispatch the last of the strange Lizard people, noticing that they don't appear to be armed for fighting. You pull some Astrological Maps for one of the bodies and hand it to Razmus. Before Razmus can look at it, a large hammer whirs between you. You whip around, weapon at the ready to see a new group of Lizardmen approaching! |

With a final heavy blow, you strike the last of the Masons down. Once again, you notice they are carrying plans. You retrieve them and hand them to Razmus. He is already pouring over the previous plans and as he starts comparing notes between the two, his eyes widen.
'Warrior! These creatures are working on structures designed to increase the magical powers in the storm to breach a Portal that sits in the eye! We have to stop them! I believe their efforts have already increased the magical power in the region to dangerous levels! Come! We must get to the Tempest Loci!' |

You get to the center of the ruins and find Razmus. |
Razmus turns to you. 'We'll have to do something about this! I've found out that these Lizardmen are Dragonkin! They appear to be increasing the power to the portal at the center of the Tempest. Get me one of the staffs wielded by the Dragonkin in this area. I might be able to create a way for you to get through the portal to confront whatever is on the other side!' |

You run back to Razmus, clutching the Stormcall Staff. Razmus says 'Quickly, I must see if I can alter the magics here!' |
Razmus takes the staff and examines it. He lets go of it and the staff floats in place. Razmus starts manipulating it with his magical gifts. The staff starts to spin, gaining speed and throwing out sparks and electrical bolts.
With a thunderous clap, the staff stops spinning in an instant! It emits a glow and Razmus takes hold of it. He gives it a quick inspection and then hands it to you. 'This should allow you to step through the Portal. I have changed it so that is ought to bleed away the storms power over yourself and your immediate surrounding. I hope it is enough!'
You turn to the portal. Steeling yourself, you step through!
You receive 'Imbued Stormcall Staff'. |

Wearily, you manage to return to Razmus. He seems pleased to see you live. 'What was on the other side of the Portal?' |
At the mention of the name, Razmus takes a step back. 'Moskenstraumen was imprisoned here? We knew it had happened in the Dark Times but we did not know where this prison was! And you managed to defeat him?' You confirm that you were able to beat the mighty Storm Dragon but do not believe it is dead.
'You are probably correct. A Creature like Moskenstraumen is Ancient and mighty. You'd need something more powerful than the Staff to destroy it. We could well see it again. In any event, your actions have bought my Order time to study the Tempest as well as providing us with the knowledge of Moskenstraumens prison. I will have to leave to report these finds. I bid you a farewell and hope you will accept this small offering.'
