'There is an evil enchantment within this foulness, I am surprised that you did not find a necromantic rune or other spell focus. We should look deeper into this and also see if we can find any survivors. I know it's a long shot, but we should at least look.'
'For now take this Amulet of Soth as reward for your work. If you could also meet me Blistered Glen and we shall continue our search for anyone left alive.'

The Priest looks at you curiously, 'Are you sure you searched the Tarred Colsine thoroughly?' You frown at the Priests accusation and say, 'You can be sure that was all that was being carried by the creature apart from scraps of armor. There is nothing else on them, you can be sure of it!'
The Priest see's your anger and nods quickly, 'Very well Warrior, I didn't mean any offense. I apologize if that came across. It's just that Undead usually require a Necromantic source. It is an affront to creation, it never occurs naturally. But sometimes these Necromancers are fiendishly clever in their spell weaving. Although I do sense dark spell casting in the Sacred Vale, meet me there and we shall deal with the evil lurking lurking within that cursed land.'

You look around the foul Totem but you cannot find any stones with runes or symbols carved into them, only plain stones with tar smeared over their rough surface stacked at the base of the scared wooden pole. You reach out and take one of the stones, this must be what he was talking about.

Required Item: Ju Ju Stone
Required Kills: None
|
You return back to the Young Priest, 'Do you have one of the Ju Ju Stones for me?' |
The Young Priest takes the stone from you and carefully brushes the foul tar from it. He frowns when the stone has no rune carved into it. Before he can speak you say, 'That was the only stone anywhere near the Totem I found. If you can call it that.' The Young Priest then looks at the stone as if he has seen it for the first time.
'I have seen the Shamans cast fireballs, but it might be that is one of the few skills left to the Undead. They could be smearing these rocks because they have a faint memory of what they used to do. But the ability to craft a real Ju Ju Stone is actually lost to them. They are just going trough the routine of doing so to fuel their old powers. This would mean that the Shamans have nothing to do with the Undead as they are as much a victim of this curse as anyone else of the Closine Tribe. Unfortunately that means we still have to find the source of this necromantic curse. Please meet me in the Range, but take this Talakan Rune as a reward for your work.'
