Having defeated the Chodrmen, Egil and yourself have moved onto the final Island in this area. It is supposed to be large and populous but you have found no sign of people at all, just strange markings in the sand. You keep walking and find Egil in a bowl formed by the dunes. Egil spins around. 'Warrior! Thank the Light! Have you seen them?' You look at him. 'Seen what?' 'How could you not have seen.....' His voice trails off and he points behind you. You spin round and see a group of monstrous spiders on the top of the dunes.

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 1441 Location:Blotaceous Island (Spider Haunt) (2, 9) Required Item: None Required Kills: 25 x Leaping Solifuge

You draw your weapon as the group of Solifuge leap towards you. Egil let's out a scream of terror. Looks like this fight is yours alone! You fight off the fast spiders and protect Egil. When the last of the Solifuge are dead, you turn to Egil. 'What happened there Egil? You froze up!' Egil is looking ill and points to your weapon. In a quavering voice he says 'Aren't you going to clean that? It's covered in spider goo.' You look blankly at him. 'Okay! I, Egil, slayer of numberless demons, am scared of spiders. Happy? Something to do with all those legs I think.' You grin. 'Seriously? Guess I'll have to carve my way through the spiders. We're safe here. Let's move on to the next part of the Island.'

Stage 3 Minimum Level: 1442 Location:Blotaceous Island (Hunting Grounds) (12, 1) Required Item: None Required Kills: None

You find Egil cowering in a corner. You make sure he sees you coming. 'Gods, Warrior. I feel pathetic! But I can't fight these things! I've been able to watch them in short bursts though. Something about these spiders is.......wrong. I don't mean their size, as there are many types of giant spider in the Realms. No. There's something else. I can't put my finger on it. Please check the spiders here. I'm going to sneak to the next part of the Island. Please meet me there.'

Stage 4 Minimum Level: 1443 Location:Blotaceous Island (Charging Range) (15, 2) Required Item: Demonic Venom Extract Required Kills: None	You find Egil waiting for you. 'Did you find anything in your investigations my friend?' Egil takes the lead lined jar. 'Hrm. This IS interesting. I can feel....power.' Egil takes a few items out of various pouches and pockets and starts performing a rite. He looks up. 'This will take a little while. Please kill some of the Death Solifuge that roam this area.'

Stage 5 Minimum Level: 1443 Location:Blotaceous Island (Charging Range) (15, 2) Required Item: None Required Kills: 35 x Death Solifuge

You return to a triumphant looking Egil. He grins. 'They are normal creatures. Grown to huge size due to a massive infusion of demonic energy. They are demon spawn!This means something on this island is creating these aberrations. We have to find and destroy them. Since something is spawning these, if we kill the source, they will die out themselves. Let's head to the next region. We'll see what we can find out. If you get there before me, look for a sample of the creatures there.' You receive 13,109,080 XP and 'Venom Shard Rune'.
