You have traveled to the Zhang plains, as Arik suggested. You are not terribly surprised to find that Arik has beaten you here. You are slightly surprised to find him in deep conversation with a man dressed in formidable armor. You take him to be the Khan of these plains that Arik mentioned. As you straighten, you see a gleam of approval in Arik's eye and think you see a factional nod. The Khan bows back. He smiles. 'You must be the Warrior that helped Arik. That was an honorable thing to do. He says you are a mighty warrior. To have bested the various Zargen, this must be true. However, are you willing to test yourself against my men? Please, take this checklist and return to me when you have retrieved that many sashes from my horsemen.' You receive 'Recipe of Horseman Sash Tally'.

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 1518 Location:Zhang Plains (Scrub) (11, 9) Required Item: Horseman Sash Tally Required Kills: None

You return to the Arik and the Khan. The Khan looks at you. 'Have you bested my Horsemen and returned with the Sash Tally?' The Khan takes the Tally and you see a broad grin spread across his face. 'I hope you did not beat my men too badly for this?' You smile back. 'They'll live, my Lord. They were worthy opponents.' The Khan claps you on the shoulder. 'I like you! An honorable Warrior not of my clan is hard to find in this region. Would you be up for the challenge of my Heavy Cavalry? If so, meet us upon the Zhang Plains (Training Grounds)! I look forward to seeing you there my friend!'

Stage 3 Minimum Level: 1520 Location:Zhang Plains (Training Grounds) (14, 9) Required Item: None Required Kills: None	You arrive at the Training Grounds and find the Khan and Arik waiting for you. The Khan greets you warmly and says 'You have arrived! I knew that you would! Are you prepared to face my greatest Warriors?' The Khan beams. 'Excellent. On these training fields you will find my Zhang Heavy Cavalry. defeat as many of them as you can and return to me.'

Stage 4 Minimum Level: 1520 Location:Zhang Plains (Training Grounds) (14, 9) Required Item: None Required Kills: 324 x Zhaghu Heavy Cavalry	You return to the Khan. He welcomes you and says 'Have you defeated my Warriors?' The Khan laughs. 'A mighty tally indeed. You are a Warrior of rare ability. I'm afraid there is only one more trial! One more warrior of the Tribes to pit your skills against.' He bows. 'Meet me in the Arena of the Horse Lord.'

Stage 5 Minimum Level: 1520 Location:Zhang Plains (Arena of the Horse Lord) (11, 3) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Khan of Zhang (Elite)

You find the Khan waiting for you in the Arena. 'I am your final opponent! Face me in honorable combat!' It's a grueling fight. The Khan is a skilled Warrior but one who fights with honor. No dirty tricks are employed and as such, you fight in kind. You start leaving little gaps in your defense and wait for the Khan to go for the kill strike. He suddenly does so, and you swiftly riposte and disarm him and bring your weapon to bear lightly upon the Khans shoulder. The arena goes quiet. All eyes are upon you. You take a smart step back and salute the Khan. You then drop to one knee and offer your weapon. The Khan takes the weapon and then grasps your arm and pulls you to your feet. He turns to his people. 'This Warrior is an exemplar of honor! We all can learn from him. I name him friend to our people and to myself!' he turns to you. 'A mighty bout and a refreshing bit of exercise. I shall be wary of unlikely opening in a skilled defense in the future! My thanks for bending your knee to me at the end.' You smile. 'I enjoyed our duel and have no interest in supplanting your rule. You are an honorable combatant and I would not disrespect you that way.' The Khan smiles. 'You are friend to our people and you may pass through our lands. However, stay a while and enjoy our hospitality!' You take the Khan up on his offer and spend several enjoyable day with the Zhagu Tribe. Eventually you take your leave. The Khan sees you off and warns you of the hunting beasts ahead, though he does admit, they are not likely to best you. For your part, you look forward to some hunting yourself!
