Cavanda crouches next to the poor wretch and whispers gently into his ear. Whatever she said the young boy straightens up slowly, holding his head. You return to find the Wounded Student talking quietly to Cavanda. As you draw near he looks up at you, 'Did you manage to collect the Rancid Heart for me?' When you return Cavanda looks at you with huge eyes of terror. The Wounded Student grins happily and asks cheerfully, 'Did you manage to slaughter the Upgraded Workers (Champion)?' Cavanda backs away from the Wounded Student, her face pale with fear. She draws her longsword and takes up her position beside you. You whisper, 'What's wrong?' She doesn't break her gaze upon the young boy, 'He ate the Rancid Heart like it was cake and his wounds healed immediately. I don't know what's going on, but I can tell you that the Student here is somehow one of the Undead.' The Student giggles, 'He looks around and sees one of the fallen Upgraded Workers, 'Ah, splendid.' He straightens up and the bandage falls from his head revealing a roughly shaved head and a number tattooed into the skin says, 'Advanced Experiment 402b'. The Student breaths deeply and stretches happily, 'Before we proceed I'd like to tell you my theory. I think that energy is held within flesh and bone just like magical energy is held in a rune stone. So I bet that the Upgraded Worker (Champion) will give me more energy than an ordinary Upgraded Worker. Unfortunately the Professor didn't agree with me and made me prove my theory.
