You encounter a long trail of slime across the desert. You follow the trail some and stumble upon a traveller who appears to be stuck within the slime trail. 'Help!' the traveller calls. You grab the traveller by his arms and yank him free of the slime trail. 'Thank you! I would have been stuck there forever if you hadn't rescued me! Those snails keep leaving slime trails all across this desert, they are the cause of many of my people perishing! I was originally sent out to kill the snails, and end their trails! I would be forever thankful if you helped me kill them.'

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 2180 Location:Othirem (Wilds) (21, 5) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Othirem Snail	You arrive back at the traveller, who appears to have freed himself from the slime and is now surrounded by the corpses of two Othirem Snails. He stands, cleaning the weapon he used just prior to dispatch the two snails. He notices your return. 'Hey friend, how did you fare? Did you kill them yet?' 'Great work! You have saved the lives of many of my townsfolk!' You receive 18,525,859 XP.
