The man in the shade looks at you as you approach. He get's to his feet, (picking up his blade as he does so, you notice) and smirks at you. 'Been slim pickings around here. Was starting to worry but then you arrived! Be a good little victim and give us all your belongings!' You look around. 'We?' The scavenger grins and whistles out a tuneless note. All around you, disguised scavengers rise from the sand. The scavenger leader looks back at you but his grin falters when he sees you with a wolfish smile of your own. 'What's so funny?!? We're gonna take your stuff and leave you to die!' You shake your head. 'Nope. You just made this a fair fight is all!' You burst into action, drawing your weapon in a single fluid movement. Before they can react, you are among the scavengers, hauling your weapon through any and all their attempts at defence. In short order, you destroy the scavengers. You check the wagon and notice the drops of blood. You find a shallow grave of the wagons former owners. You make a crude headstone for them from wood from the wagon and say a small prayer to Sahria, Goddess of Fortune, to watch over their souls and then move one. The vultures can have the remains of the scavenger group. You receive 23,630,031 XP.
