You've fought your way through the myriad creatures infesting these labyrinthine depths, the greasy feeling of dark magic hangs in the air, getting stronger with each step. In these dark depths, you find evidence of habitation. You carefully scout the area and before long, you make out the sound of harsh voices chanting. You creep forward cautiously, clinging to the shadows. You ease your head around the corner and see what appears to be a coven of witches. You can't make out what they are chanting but figure you wouldn't want to anyway.

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 2488 Location:Tellroth Depths (Coven Ground) (14, 13) Required Item: None Required Kills: 20 x Depths Gray Hag	As you watch, you see one of the witches stiffens and before you can duck back, she spins around and spots you! With a horrifying scream, she alerts her sisters and they swarm towards you! Their numbers are smaller than you expected, and as you cut down the last of the foul creatures, you hear a high, ululating sound. You turn towards the noise....

Stage 3 Minimum Level: 2488 Location:Tellroth Depths (Coven Ground) (14, 13) Required Item: None Required Kills: 20 x Depths Gray Hag (Champion)	You turn towards the ululating screams and are confronted by a new group of witches, with what looks like bony crown-like crests. Their cries increase in volume and they charge! Though more fomidable that their sisters, you cut down the new arrivals. You still feel the dark power in the air though, so these twisted creatures are not the only source of danger. You press on.

Stage 4 Minimum Level: 2489 Location:Tellroth Depths (Gaol) (16, 5) Required Item: None Required Kills: None

The dank caves that you find in the next level of the Depths have chains and manacles everywhere. You conclude it may have been some old gaol where the sisterhood had been locked away. They must have broken free. A voice drifts out of the darkness, 'No, not broken free, we were released.' 'Yes, I can see your thoughts.' the voice says. From the darkness strides a Depths Gray Hag Fiend. You protect your thoughts as she gets closer. You spy more of these creatures in the darkness. The Hag Fiend stops abruptly. 'Aaaah, Sisters! We have a strong one here! Their mental shields are formidable indeed! This should be fun!' With that, the coven leaps from the shadows, intent on your destruction.

Stage 5 Minimum Level: 2489 Location:Tellroth Depths (Gaol) (16, 5) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Depths Gray Hag Fiend

The sisterhood of Hag Fiends descends on you. You charge into their midst, hewing left and right and slowly, surely, you fight the sisters off. Before they all flee screaming into the dark, you manage to capture one of them alive. It does not take long to find that these witches had been freed by a "Dark Queen" of vast power. She and her people have taken residence deeper in the Caverns. The witch tells you where to go and produces a strange, twisted key. It is her last action on this plane of existence.... You receive 44,586,953 XP and 'Hag Fiends Twisted Key'.
