You meet the Dryad in the Barrows. Another well earned name, as the entire section of this green and lively wood is given over to burial mounds. Barrows for the honoured dead. You turn at a sound and are greeted by the Dryad, who is emerging from a healthy looking tree. She shakes her head. 'It is healthy enough for now, but I can feel the corruption burning through the ground and into the roots. It's even reaching into the Barrows for some reason!' 'The Barrows?' you say? The Dryad nods. 'Why?' You hear a rumble of stone blocks moving and the tearing of grass being torn aside. You turn towards the Barrows, the Dryad at your side. 'Because..' you say 'The energies of the Shroud that corrupt the living can also reanimate the dead.' You draw your weapon and shield and the Dryad shifts into a more aggressive form as you watch dozens of Wights claw and dig their way out of their barrows, reaching for you with talon-like finger bones caked in grave dirt.

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 2714 Location:Kethnoir Wood (Barrow) (17, 4) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Kethnoir Wood Wight	The horde of Wights moves towards you with purpose! The fight is brutal and hard but you finally destroy the Wights assaulting you. It's not over though. A small group of much more potent undead step forth and renew the attack!

Stage 3 Minimum Level: 2714 Location:Kethnoir Wood (Barrow) (17, 4) Required Item: None Required Kills: 10 x Kethnoir Wood Wight (Champion)

The new Wights are more ornately armed and armored.They advance in an ordered attack row. You look to the Dryad. The Dryad uses her mastery of the Weave to tear the Wights apart while you rely on your trusty weapon and shield. In fairly short order, the Wights have been destroyed. You take a deep breath and wish you hadn't. The mouldering smell makes you cough. You look at the Dryad as she uses her powers to make the woodland around rise up and claim the dead. It is fast and effective. 'The bodies of the dead shall strengthen the Weave and has allowed me to see where the darkness is coming from. It's trying to leech the sudden influx of power that the claiming of the dead has given the Woods. It's...It's coming from the Enclave. The Moon Elves there were always a friend of the Weave. We must find out what evil has befallen them and destroy it!' You agree to meet the Dryad at the Enclave.

Stage 4 Minimum Level: 2724 Location:Kethnoir Wood (Enclave) (15, 14) Required Item: None Required Kills: None

You arrive at the Enclave to find the Dryad shaking with rage and what looked like elvish bodies being absorbed by the land in the same manner as the corpses of the Wights. She turns to you. 'This Shroud taint you speak of. It has gripped the Kethnoirian Moon Elves in madness. I tried talking to them but they simply attacked, as though they had no idea of what I could do. They died knowing full well! We need to thin them out and find out who their leader is in the benighted place!' You agree and stalk into the woods, hunting Elves.

Stage 5 Minimum Level: 2724 Location:Kethnoir Wood (Enclave) (15, 14) Required Item: None Required Kills: 30 x Kethnoir Moon Elf

You return to the clearing to find the Dryad. Her form melts out of a nearby tree. A strange sound rattled her frame. You realise it is a harsh laugh. 'Only the joy of slaying traitors!' the Dryad spits. 'How about you?' You shake your head. 'Nothing substantial. However, a few screamed that I'd never reach the Holy Clearing. Feel like proving them wrong?' She nods. 'Oh yes,' she hisses. 'We'll see them all dead before they spread their contagion further.'

Stage 6 Minimum Level: 2725 Location:Kethnoir Wood (Holy Clearing) (16, 2) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Kethnoir Moon Priest

You have found the holy ground and have been killing fanatical Moon Priest at every turn. This time it's the Dryad's turn to find you surrounded by corpses. 'Greetings Warrior. Do you have news?' You nod and tell her you do indeed. That the Moon Elves have been praying to a new God thanks to their High Priest. He is the one I need to kill. You keep the moon priests off my back while I deal with the High Priest.' She nods. 'So be it. Ensure he cannot be a threat ever again!'

Stage 7 Minimum Level: 2725 Location:Kethnoir Wood (Holy Clearing) (16, 2) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Kethnoir High Priest (Elite)

You return to the Dryad. She's been busy! You call out as you get closer. 'You have succeeded?' she asks. 'Praise be! You have performed a great deed for the Weave!' She kneels and plunges her arms into the dirt. 'Already the Weave is fighting back against the Shroud influence. With the High Priest dead, there's no further guidance for the dark energy while the Weave is VERY much under guidance on how to destroy the infection. Thanks to you, Warrior, I may even be able to restore Pellranor! You have my greatest thanks Warrior! Now I can return home and start the restoration of Pellranor!' You receive 73,486,713 XP.
