Afolabi is stalking in the opening of a cave when you meet up with him. The trail of Shroud energy has brought you here and looks like it'll lead deep underground. Afolabi seems agitated however. 'The Darkness feels cloying here. I feel that we are going to find a lot of corrupted creatures or unlife here.' As he says this, a shrill shriek erupts from the darkness and a swarm of Vampiric Raptors surges from the dark.

Stage 2 Minimum Level: 2936 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Stalk) (9, 11) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Narrac Vampiric Raptor

The Raptors surge out of the darkness towards Afolabi and you! The fight is vicious but, working together, Afolabi and you fight off the Raptors and drive them back into the dark. You're both still on edge but there's no sign of the monsters returning. The Shroud Anchor is thrumming though! 'Definitely on the right track' you say to Afolabi. 'I believe we'll have to go deeper.' Afolabi nods and you both set off!

Stage 3 Minimum Level: 2939 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Roost) (3, 5) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Narrac Kyrop Terror

You've been advancing through the cave network, following the Soul Anchor. You are moving to meet up with Afolabi. You step into a widening area and find that Afolabi is under attack by a Kyrop Terror! You lunge forward to assist Afolabi, raking your weapon through the Kyrops wing membrane, grounding it. It lets out a deafening shriek. From the darkness, you hear answering shrieks and the rustle of wings...

Stage 4 Minimum Level: 2939 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Roost) (3, 5) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Narrac Kyrop Terror	As you finish off the first Terror, the rustling and shrieking draws closer and vast numbers of them boil from the darkness. The Terrors swarm around you and this works to your favor as you CANNOT miss them initially! Afolabi is picking them off with precise strikes of his hunting spear. Within short time, the beasts are destroyed. You both decide to move on.

Stage 5 Minimum Level: 2942 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Mound) (15, 9) Required Item: None Required Kills: None

You've been following the Shroud Anchor into the depths of the caves. You approach where you agreed to meet Afolabi and hear the sounds of combat, followed by silence. You round the corner, weapon drawn and are confronted by Afolabi standing over the corpse of a gigantic grub. Afolabi looks up. 'Some kind of necromantic grub. Came out of no where. This thing REEKS of the shroud though!' He looks at you. 'First vampiric raptors, warped bats and now a rotting, necromantic grub. The Shroud is getting stronger.' It looks like he's about to continue when more of the vile grubs appear and attack!

Stage 6 Minimum Level: 2942 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Mound) (15, 9) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Narrac Necrofused Ubergrub

The Ubergrubs surge forth and Afolabi and yourself lunge forward to tear into them! In short order, the Ubergrubs are dead. Afolabi suggests taking the head from one. You look askance. Afolabi shakes his head. 'I think we'll need to gather parts of these abominations and make a distillation of the shroud power in them. I'll make a note of what we meet as we progress and come up with a conjuration.' You nod and suggest you advance.

Stage 7 Minimum Level: 2944 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Network) (5, 16) Required Item: None Required Kills: 100 x Narrac Gluttonous Wanderer

Afolabi stalks through the cave ahead of you. He holds up a hand, signalling for you to stop. In the quiet, you hear something. The shambling of many feet and something else. You're not sure what, but it sends shivers down your spine... From out of the darkness, stumbling corpses arrive from the darkness. Where the stomach ought to be is a yawning chasm of a mouth, ringed with fangs with long serpentine tongues lolling around. More and more of them pour from the darkness. The two of you surge into the horde of shambling horrors, heaving your weapons into the monstrous undead. They are not warriors and barely have a beast's cunning. But there are vast numbers of them! The fight is long and the numbers threaten to overwhelm you both but you manage to destroy the grotesque beasts.

Stage 8 Minimum Level: 2947 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Darkness) (4, 13) Required Item: None Required Kills: 50 x Narrac Dark Shade

Afolabi stalks through the caves ahead of you. 'The Shroud Anchor is thrumming. We are getting closer to a source of dark power. In fact, the Anchor is showing a new swelling of power. We're likely to be attacked!' Sure enough, a small group of Dark Shades come into view. More foul undead! The mindless spirits prove to be easy targets for you both. Afolabi turns to you. 'We're getting closer. I expect that more challenging entities will be guarding what ever we're closing on.'

Stage 9 Minimum Level: 1950 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Guard Caves) (16, 3) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Narrac Deathblade

You have infiltrated an area that appears to be Guard Caves. As you move forward, you hear the distinct sound of combat. You advance and see Afolabi dueling a Narrac Deathblade! The fight is fast and brutal, both combatants holding their own until Afolabi falls for a feint, allowing the Deathblade to unbalance him! As the Deathblade swings his weapon down, you interpose your weapon between it's sword and Afolabi's neck! As it lurches back in surprise, you spin on your heel, lashing out with your weapon and taking it's head from it's shoulders!

Stage 10 Minimum Level: 2950 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Guard Caves) (16, 3) Required Item: None Required Kills: 75 x Narrac Deathblade

You help Afolabi to his feet and ask if he's okay. 'I am Warrior, thanks to your intervention. Thank you. These Deathblades are excellent soldiers. I fear we'll need to thin their numbers out. I think I can also combine the samples of the creatures thus far with a Deathblades sword and their essence.' He pulls out a scroll and works out the items needed and incantations required and hands it to you. 'We'll have to clear the Deathblades out and construct a Purified Deathblade. They are guarding something and I believe we'll be able to destroy it with a purified version of the guards weapons. Clear them out and I'll have this list figured out for you.' You return to Afolabi after an arduous hunt. You tracked down and destroyed as many Deathblades as you could, finding an intact weapon from them as well as the essence of the foul warrior constructs. 'Have you finished that list?' you ask. Afolabi stands and hands you a scroll. 'I have indeed my friend! You'll need to create the Purified Deathblade and advance into the Ritual Cave and destroy whatever you find there.' You receive 'Recipe of Purified Deathblade'

Stage 11 Minimum Level: 2950 Location:Narrac Tunnels (Guard Caves) (16, 3) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Thagagror The Deathly (Elite)

Wearily, you trudge back to Afolabi. He sees you coming and rushes over. 'My friend, are you okay? I was growing worried!' You confirm that, while tired, you are okay. You managed to destroy Thagagror The Deathly, the focus of the undeath and corruption of the tribes. However, even though he is gone, you can still feel corruption in the air. You have to push on. Find the ultimate source. Afolabi nods. 'I feel it too. You will not face this alone my friend. I shall continue with you.' You look up and smile. You thank him for his help. Afolabi smiles back. 'I continued some conjuring and managed to create a new Shroud Anchor. It is pointing us in a new direction. We should follow it.' You get to your feet and Afolabi sees the look in your eyes. 'Ready to go?' he says. You give him a feral grin and nod. You receive 73,076,223 XP and 'Shroud Anchor'.
