Wandering through the Danathor Woods, you feel like you're being watched. You continue cautiously. You find a clearing and thought's of making a possible defence evaporate from your mind. Someone seems to have tried that with a caravan and failed! Picking through the destroyed caravan, you see various bits and pieces. The bodies of guards appear strewn through the area. You see fire damage. You're about to search for survivor tracks when the forest seems to awaken! Danathor Fire Huldra have appears around the clearing, flames held in their hands.

The Danathor Fire Huldra launch their attack, screeching in fury as they do so! With the enraged Fire Huldras cut down, you feel you know WHAT happened. You want to know why. You search the area for clues and see track of two people. It looks like they fled. There's also tracks of a third individual. They look like a heavier person. Possibly a guard? You decide to follow the tracks and see if you can find the people of the caravan.

You've followed the tracks into the copse. You step into the area and see a man in armor. The missing guard? From what you can see, he appears to be studying the ground. You step out and say "Ho! You're the guard of the caravan I found?" The man goes on immediate guard, blade drawn. "I am. Who are you?" You keep your weapons sheathed. " I'm [USERNAME]. I found the wreck and tracks. I've been following them to ensure the survivors are okay."

The guard narrows his eyes. "I've heard of you. Might explain why you seem to care about the fate of strangers. Still, it's my job to..." His eyes widen as you whip out you weapon! You bellow "MOVE!" He dives aside, just in time as a branch-like arm smashes into the ground. You're surrounded by Incendia Treemen You destroy the attacking treemen and end the combat covered in sap and leaves. You turn to the guard. "You were looking at tracks. Did the others escape do you think?" The guard nods. "Aye. They moved on to the next area I believe. We should go to the Danathor Woods (Bark). See if we can catch up to them." You nod and the pair of you head out.

You're continuing to follow the trail with the guard. You're getting closer, you can tell. You stop to investigate fresh tracks and hear the creak of moving trees! You see Barkhide Elemental moving in to attack. You both prepare for combat! You cut down the Elementals yet see more coming. The guard plants his feet and perpares, calling to you over his shoulder. "[USERNAME]! Follow the trail! Find my charges! I'll hold these elementals here!" You nod and head into Danathor Woods (Grove)!

Stage 6 Minimum Level: 4570 Location:Danathor Woods (Grove) (11, 13) Required Item: None Required Kills: 1 x Danathor Grove Lord (Elite)

You charge into the Grove and look around and hear faint yelling to the south and burst through the trees, weapons drawn and are confronted by two helpless people with a vast Treeman looming over them, an arm as thick as a normal truck raised! You charge forward, a war cry ripping from your lips! With a thunderous crash, the Grove Lord falls to the ground, narrowly missing the cowering people. You sheathe you weapons and run to them. "Are you alright?" you ask. "Your surviving guard is holding back attackers. You must come with me!" You look at you, shocked. "He came?" You nod, help them to their feet and set out to return to the guard.

You shepherd the caravan survivors towards where the guard was defending you. You are pleased to see him alive and waiting for you. The guard stands, a big smile on his face! "Elena! Christoph! You're alright!" They all hug and mutter to each other. You stand back at a respectful distance. The guard looks at you. "[USERNAME], I cannot thank you enough for the aid you've provided. I have little, but please take this." He hands you a bottle. You take it gratefully and say "I was glad to help. May I suggest we escort your charges from this forest?"
